Dr. Yu joined Eastside Cardiology in August of 2002 and is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. He practices general cardiovascular medicine which encompasses the evaluation and management of coronary artery disease, heart failure, and cardiac risk factors such as hypertension and lipid disorders.
Dr Harry Yu grew up in Marion, Indiana. He attended Northwestern University in Illinois for both his undergraduate and graduate medical education. He subsequently moved to Boston, completing his medical residency at the Harvard Medical School program at The Beth Israel Hospital and his cardiology fellowship at the Tufts Medical School program at the New England Medical Center. He has done clinical research at Harvard and Tufts in lipids, and cardiac risk factors such as C-reactive protein. Dr Yu has specialized training in heart failure and cardiac imaging including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT. He is the director of nuclear cardiology and echocardiography at Eastside Cardiology Associates, and echocardiography at Evergreen Hospital.
He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and children.
