Rachel was born and raised in Aloha, Oregon. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Portland. Prior to receiving her Masters of Nursing degree from the University of Washington, she worked as a nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit for 8 years. Rachel joined Eastside Cardiology Associates in 2007, working in both the hospital and clinic settings. She is fully licensed in the state Washington as an RN and ARNP.
Rachel manages a variety of cardiac conditions within general cardiology, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. These include heart failure, coronary artery disease, complex arrhythmia management and valvular disease. She is trained in the interpretation and management of implantable devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. In her free time she enjoys finding new trails for hiking and backpacking in the beautiful northwest with her family.
