The current generation of multi-slice CT scanners allow rapid imaging of the heart allowing non-invasive angiographic images to be obtained.  Previous generation of CT scanners moved too slowly to take accurate images of moving structures.  Our cardiologists have been trained in the use of this new and exciting technique and will be reading scans at Evergreen in early 2009.
