Robert E. Haynes, MD, FACC

Dr. Robert Haynes was born in 1946 and he received his B.A. at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio in 1968.  He earned his M.D. at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  Dr. Haynes completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Washington in 1977 and went into private practice in 1977, opening his first office in Kirkland at that time.  Dr. Haynes' special interests include his 12 wonderful grandchidren, photography, biking, playing the piano, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and speaking on death and dying.  He has been Chief of the Medical Staff, Chief of the Department of Cardiology and the Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program, and has served on many committees at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center.  He is Board Certified in Cardiology, is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a Clinical Assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington.
